ProAction was awarded a $10,000 grant by Truist Foundation. The grant is a much-needed boost to ProAction’s year-round efforts to recruit, train and graduate Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) in El Paso, particularly in communities of color.

There is a shortage of EMTs in the Borderland, and that has been the case since Covid-19 began. At ProAction, we are proud to train our students with experienced instructors, flexible schedules and invaluable hands-on-training exercises.

“In ProAction courses, students learn everything from first aid to life-saving techniques. Once the students become EMTs, they are guaranteed consistent job opportunities.
