ProAction Celebrates Sandra Goode’s Selection for Leadership Texas Class of 2024

This prestigious selection places her among an elite group of 85 women leaders, handpicked from across the Lone Star State, to participate in the United States’ longest-running women’s leadership development program.
Leadership Texas, the flagship initiative by Leadership Women (LW), is renowned for its impactful role in fostering women’s leadership. Since its inception in 1983, it has been at the forefront of equipping women with the knowledge, skills, and networks necessary to excel in their personal and professional lives. This year’s theme, “LEADERSHIP CHALLENGES FOR THE FUTURE: LEADING IN THE LONE STAR STATE,” promises an enriching journey through Dallas, Lubbock, and San Antonio, offering insights into the unique opportunities and challenges within these communities.
Sandra’s selection is a testament to her exceptional leadership qualities and her commitment to professional growth. “This is an incredible opportunity. I’m eager to meet women leaders from across Texas passionate about leadership development. I intend to incorporate the diverse perspectives I will encounter in my own leadership skills,” she expressed. With a rich academic background in Government and Political Science from New Mexico State University and Accounting from the University of Phoenix, Sandra is well-equipped to make the most of this program.
Throughout the year-long program, Sandra will engage with thought leaders, government officials, and experts, gaining cutting-edge information that will undoubtedly enrich her contributions to ProAction and the broader community. The program is designed to broaden participants’ perspectives on state issues by exploring them in three Texas cities, enriching their understanding and ability to impact our evolving state positively.
